Our Life-Changing Project
Class of 2021
My name is Syona Mehta., and I am a sophomore at Clarksburg High School. I challenge myself academically by taking all Advanced Placement and honors classes; I am a member of the Advanced Placement Power Scholars Program at my school.
At school, I am involved in the Red Cross Club, Medical Club, and Youth and Government Club. I have also been involved in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and I have led my own team for the last few years. Outside of school I am a competitive foil fencer with the Royal Fencing Academy. I love to sing, play guitar and piano as well. I also participate in my school’s elite choir. During the summer I like to spend time volunteering regularly at Nourish Now, Comfort Cases, and Ashbury Methodist Senior Village. I have been with Leadership Initiatives for the last three years and attend the Youth Programs over the summer. For the last two years I have lead an IBIP team at my school where we work with our business partner in Nigeria to address their challenges and design solutions for them.
I am grateful to IBIP for allowing me to have this opportunity where I am able to work so closely in developing and improving a business and sharpen my leadership skills. This year I am thrilled to be an intern with Leadership Initiatives and excited to continue my journey!

My name is Andrew Cox. I am a Sophomore at Clarksburg High School.
I have always enjoyed many sports but am currently participating in recreational Sam soccer, Clarksburg Cross Country Teman, and CSA basketball. Also, I enjoy spending time in boy scouts(Troop 489) and in Youth and government. I joined this club for the purpose of serving business in need. Also, I joined this club to further understand what the real business world is like I will strive to do my best to make a difference and change our business partners business for the better. I feel that this is one of the most beneficial clubs in our school and even in our county due to its major learning opportunities for the students and support for the overseas business.

My name is Siddharth Voonna and I am a sophomore at Clarksburg High School
The previous year I had gone to Northwest high school In which I made my own club, the economic association. This year I am apart of the Youth and government, Hosa, debate team, mock trial, science bowl, Class council and I enjoy playing football, wrestling, and playing tennis for the school team. I have challenged myself throughout high school taking all Ap and honors classes. I am very elated to be doing the IBIP program this year because I felt that this program will help me meet some incredible people and will help me make an impact on the world. My favorite class/club in school is Social studies and class council, one day I would love to be a criminal defense attorney or in a political position.
Yaxin (Christina) Yang
Class of 2020
Yaxin( Christina) Yang is a junior currently enrolled in Clarksburg High School.
The top two out of all of her passions are business management and fashion designing, and one day she would be delighted to run her own clothing company. She spends the majority of her time studying for school and test preparation. When she has free time, she enjoys having tennis matches with her friend and going on hikes.
She's beyond excited to join the IBIP program this year and wish to make an accomplishment during this program.

My name is Jemima Monga I am a sophomore, and I go to Clarksburg High School in the state of Maryland.
I play lacrosse, and I founded my club which is a college preparatory club. I am the captain of the mock trial team at my school. I am also involved in several other clubs in my schools such as fellowship Christian Athlete, Youth and Government, international Culture Club and the honors French society. I have always challenged myself throughout my high school career by taking several ap and honors classes. I lived on multiple continents including Europe, Africa, and North America. I am fluent in several including French, English, and Swahili. I love traveling and travel a lot, so I have a lot of different experience with different types of cultures. I love helping others and making people smile, and I always reach for the best. I am a cheerful and spirited person, and always love encouraging others. I would like to be a corporate lawyer when I am older.
I love working with leadership initiatives. I got to meet some incredible people and have helped to have an impact on the world.

Story of the Business
Ade started working with his older brother in 2001 for automotive repair, where he worked under him for 3 years. Then, Ade left to work for a more advanced business, where he learn more about auto body repairs. In 2010 Ade opened his own shop. Under his brother, he said he was properly drilled and he learned the best methods from him. He works on all types of cars, exluding large trucks, and he is very passionate about his skill and work.
About the Owner: Adewale Adeniji
Ade has 4 siblings, his parents are late, he is taking financial responsibilities of his younger brother who is in Junior Secondary School. He is Married with a daughter of 18 months. the business is a way of providing for his immediate family and siblings, and he is very grateful for the opportunity.
