My name is Shreya Suneja and I am a junior at Half Hollow Hills High School East. I am an active member of my community and try to get involved as much as possible. For example, I am co-captain of my Speech & Debate Team and a part of the my town’s youth council. I am also a member of Math Honor Society as well as Spanish Honor Society. I am a research assistant at the Social Competence and Treatment Lab at Stony Brook University where I work with children with autism to help develop their social skills and understanding of those around them as well as working with special needs children through a volunteer organization known as the Friendship Circle. I decided to join IBIP because I have always been interested in how I can make a change on a global level and IBIP is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the world and help to improve it. I am very excited to work with my business partners to bring positive changes to their business.

Our Solutions

Solution 1

The pharmacy department of the Shifa Royal Hospital’s main problem is keeping track of funds and products. There is no current system for keeping track of when money is withdrawn from the pharmacy department or of the total amount of product they have for various drugs.

A solution for this problem is to create a record sheet that tracks money and orders for the drugs along with the amount of drug requested. This way, a system can help keep the numbers accurate and help accelerate the efficiency of the pharmacy department.

Keep a record sheet for the name of the patient/client, the date, the drug requested, the amount requested and the payment.

Use a new sheet each month as a log, then at the end of the month use the sheet to find out which drugs are higher in demand and what products must be restocked.
