Throughout my first 3 years at Saint Gertrude High School, I’ve challenged myself through academics and extracurriculars.

Saint Gertrude has very arduous but beneficial academics and pushes all students to work hard. It’s also very encouraging to be apart of after-school clubs, sports, and programs. I’ve been involved with most if not all activities. I played Basketball, I’ve been in every musical, and I am in the yearbook, spirit club, SPAAP, and world language club. I hold the editor and chief position in the yearbook club.

I am very lucky and thankful to be working with the Global Young Innovators Initiative. I’m excited to help in the best ways I can and be the best leader I can for my team.

I feel this internship is the perfect opportunity for me to challenge myself and learn more about the ins and outs of the business world. I’ve always been able to juggle different responsibilities and work under pressure. My dependability during busy times comes from a crowded and challenging schedule of sports, advanced courses in school, physics peer tutoring, and family obligations. I’m looking forward to working with Leadership Initiatives as the media chair and helping them with the amazing work they do.

I am a junior at St. Gertrude. I participate in basketball, soccer, help out my school and family and take advanced courses. I love to challenge myself and help others, making the IBIP a perfect fit for me. I have always been very involved in community service in my area and clubs and extracurriculars within my school. I work well on a team and I thrive when assigned important tasks. With a busy schedule I have learned how to manage my time well and I can’t wait to put my skills to use with Leadership Initiatives.

I’ve always really enjoyed learning and I like to challenge myself academically by taking honors classes and advanced courses. I’m also serve as Secretary Treasurer of my Sophomore class. Along with being a part of Student Council, I’m also very involved in sports. At school, I’m a member of the Varsity Basketball and Varsity Lacrosse teams. I also play club lacrosse for Yellow Jacket South during the Fall and Summer and I’m hopeful that I will continue to play in college. On the weekends, I like to volunteer with my teammates to help grow the sport that we love by teaching younger girls how to play. I’m so grateful for this opportunity to partner with Leadership Initiatives and I can’t wait to share my passion of connecting with others to bring about global change!

I am involved in several clubs such as speak up, spirit, SADD, and Red Cross. I have played varsity soccer all three years and plan on playing in the spring of my senior year. I take as many leadership opportunities as I can and strive to do the best I can in my classes at school as well as all of my extracurricular activities. I want to be involved in this IBIP team because it means a lot for me to be able to help other people. I like the idea of setting goals and being able to achieve them with this group of people, and we all work well together. I will be a good addition to this group because I work hard and like to accomplish set goals. Although there is a lot of work and effort put into being in this group, it is one of the many things I admire about being in an IBIP team.
