“Easy going, down to earth (ready to help), compassionate, honest, disciplined, appreciative and a natural born leader.”- Theresa Oboh

I want to convey who I am, in the most candid way possible. When I see hard work, I appreciate hard work. Likewise whenpeople are looking at me, I want them to see a hard worker and someone they can appreciate. I possess this unsaid goal, to make a difference I want to my footprints on the sands of time in ways no one could imagine.

This year I plan to partake in many activities such as track manager, Regimental Ball planning committee, Model UN, Poms squad leader, and Color Guard. The activity I’m most excited for is a new club I will be starting with my Parish’s support, I plan on naming this club, “Love Myself”. “Love Myself” will be about teaching kids how to love themselves so they can build on that love to spread happiness.

IBIP has influenced me when it comes to extracurricular activities. Seeing the effort of everyone involved has encouraged me to put my best foot forward in my education. I am most excited about meeting people from different parts of the world, so I can adopt customs from foreign places while at the same time teaching them new and inventive ways. Although I have never been to an actual IBIP meeting, I’m enjoying meeting a new advisor each week because every advisor is different and it keeps me on my toes.

Class of 2021

My name is Kelsey Etoundi, and I am currently a sophomore at St. John’s College
High School. I am in the Scholar’s program of my high school, and I take part in Army JROTC. I am also part of the Raiders Team in Army JROTC.

One of my biggest aspirations in life is to help others and make the world a better
place. I have previously volunteered at soup kitchens, and I participated in the “Light the Night” walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I have also volunteered for the Cherry Blossom run in Washington, D.C. for 3 consecutive years as well. I am interested in the medical field and hope to become a physician in the future. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and dancing/singing during my free time.

I am greatly excited to join the IBIP Program to aid others in building their communities. I hope that we can make an impact that will be present in the area we have worked in. I also hope that my team will be successful in our endeavors to help the business we have partnered with.
