Class of 2020

Hello! My name is Rylie Nichiow. I’ve moved to several different places, but I’ve settled at Lake Orion High School as a junior. I speak English, of course, and Mandarin Chinese. I have been studying Chinese for five years now and am currently at an intermediate level. I love striving for better and being ambitious towards my multitude of goals in life.

My hobby includes learning about anything that I don’t necessarily focus enough on or something that I am extremely passionate about. I happen to love animals and working with children. I am a zoology enthusiast and am very intrigued by health science. I am also currently in powerlifting as an after-school sport.

I am excited to join IBIP because I would like to challenge myself and make an impact i  this world. I love helping people and have always wanted to make a change in an intelligent, strategic way. Some say that millenials can not make a difference yet because we are not as experienced as other and don’t have enough initiative to do certain things, but I believe that if we work together and throw forth our leadership qualities and skills, then we can accomplish anything that we set our minds to. I’m excited to see my teams outcome in the end and I want this to be something to be proud of.

Class of 2020

Hello, my name is Mitchell Peters and this is my bio! So important facts, I have a busy schedule, participating in school sports, working a job, and clubs! I am currently 16 and really just enjoy doing what makes me happy.

Currently I participate in two sports at school, Football and Powerlifting. I really cars and anything to do with them. At school I participate in Model UN with Ben and Aiden, along with IBIP of course. Personally I really enjoy spending my time on the computer with friends, but also going to sporting events when I get the chance. I want to go into mechanical or aerospace engineering in the future and hope to be able to attend Kettering university to get my degree. In the future as well I hope to be able to work for SpaceX or Boeing, two companies that I have always thought were pretty cool. Another side hobby of mine is photography, I love being able to go out and take pictures of fancy cars or just go on adventures and find cool stuff.

Im excited for IBIP because I thought it was a really unique opportunity. To be able to do something like this seemed really cool and when Aiden brought it up it definitely  seemed like something id want to do. I also am excited because it seems like a really cool opportunity to work in the world with businesses and other sorts of stuff like that. When I learned that we would get to collaborate with people basically around the world I thought that it would be super cool! IBIP just seems like it’s going to be a great time and I can’t wait.

Class of 2020

Howdy! I'm Aidan Leach and I am very happy to be working with the Leadership Initiative program. Some important things about me include the following. I love politics, I absolutely love working with people and helping. I really think it is important to note that the reason I am working with LI is because of model UN and meeting an ambassador for the LI program.

Some hobbies and interests of mine are things like video games, politics, Model United Nations, reading, DECA, BPA, and more! I must say that right now my biggest focus is IBIP and my academics. I hope one day to attend Stanford and get a double major, one in business administration and one in political science.

I am absolutely thrilled to work with LI and IBIP, and especially my business partners. Very rarely do kids opportunities like this and have a shot, a good, clear, and powerful shot to change the world and do it well. As I write this bio of myself, David Bowie playing and my mind jogging quickly, I can only think of how excited I am to work with my friends, my partners, and my future colleagues.

Benjamin Gregg

Benjamin Gregg

Class of 2020

My name is Benjamin Noah Gregg, and I am a student at Lake Orion High School. I currently live in Michigan, but have spent most of my life in Virginia. I am a member of a couple athletic and extracurricular groups and I volunteer regularly. I am enrolled in some Advanced Placement courses and maintain good grades throughout all of my classes.

I love to swim, and am a varsity member of the Boys’ Swim and Dive team at Lake Orion High School, as well as our Boys’ Water Polo Team. I am also a member of Rho Kappa, the Social Studies National Honors Society, and within that I am part of the Social Committee, and as such I help out in planning and setting up events for Rho Kappa. Another group I am involved with is the Lake Orion Model United Nations, where we do research on specific nations and meet in conferences to debate policy issues on behalf of the country that we represent. On top of these groups, I regularly volunteer to help out the Girls Swim and Dive team as well as volunteering at an animal shelter and help take care of the animals.

I am excited to join the IBIP team because helping someone else’s business in another country would not only expand my knowledge of business as a whole, but it would also greatly expand my perspective of the world and the different cultures that exist alongside my own. I also welcome the opportunity to better learn how to interact with and cooperate with others in a business setting. The team I will be working with is another reason why I am excited to be with IBIP. They are all smart, capable people who I am sure will make my IBIP experience even more enjoyable.
