Hi, my name is Kiersten Miller. I am currently in my junior year at Rochester High School. In my free time I enjoy photography, videography and hanging out with friends. This year I am enrolled in advanced placement classes and am also a part of the National Honor Society
In school, I am involved in the National Honor Society and Psychology Club. Out of school, horseback riding takes up the majority of my time. I have been riding since I was seven and now own not one but two horses. I ride six times a week and compete in various places in the U.S. including Kentucky and Florida. When I’m not at the barn, I’m typically volunteering at local animal shelters. I felt the urge to start volunteering there after rescuing my cat from the shelter last year. I also enjoy taking photos in my freetime whether it be of horses or of people.
I am extremely eager to be a part of this international program because I know that the learning experiences I will take away from it will be so valuable. I’ve also been wanting more opportunities to help others no matter what it be, so when I was given this opportunity I jumped on it. I am excited to work with such a talented and determined group of people as well.
